For Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening on the Xbox 360, a GameFAQs Q&A question titled "PS3 Collectors' Edition DLC not showing up anywhere?".
After spending an ungodly amount of time in CC i forgot to give my inky Vallasin, I thought all good I'll just add it via the black emporium. Yeah no.. couldn't do that. The mission didn't show up on the war table at haven, I thought maybe I didn't install that DLC. Went and checked, yup it's installed. I even took all the mods out and rebooted
Go to the games DLC tab in the steam overview and make sure the black emporium is checked. Also check other DLC, it's almost certain you are missing something else you are entitled to. Otherwise, the only thing I can think of is that you need to be connected to the somewhat fickle dragon age servers when loading.
If the Black Emporium isn't showing up in game (you first have to find it on the War Table), make sure you're logged in to the Dragon Age servers in game, with the same account you're logged in to Origin with. As many in this thread have stated, this allows the DLC to be 'authenticated', and is necessary for any DLC you install, even free content.
In the room where you wake up after the Prologue, there is a small chest on the far side of the room. In there are a few of the DLC items (weapon and armor for your class, amulet/ring--can't remember which it is atm-- and perhaps the strategy guide item [I don't have it yet, so I don't know if it's in there or not]).

Anyway, the main question which I have read afew page but mostly those forums are question on ps3-ps4 dlc. My (PC)DA:I Collector box is like all the other, broken items but I don't quite mind as I was looking forward to the game and all the ingame DLC contents.
4. There is no bar or other mechanic like in the previous Dragon Ages that tell you how far along you are with their approval. For the most part, you have to go by how they address you when you talk to them outside of combat, such as at Skyhold. For example, if Cassandra is your friend but isn't romanced, she'll often start the conversation
