Canon has just made this utility available for both Windows and Mac computers. When installed and once the camera is connected, you’ll want to make sure other Canon apps, such as EOS Utility, are closed. Check to make sure that you don’t have MLU enabled. As was commented, using default settings, a half press should engage autofocus and a full press should take the shot. (I say ā€˜using default settings’ because you can change this behavior. Look into the custom function for back-button focus. The 6D Mark II has seen a bump up in native sensitivity, now topping out at ISO 40,000, compared with ISO 25600 of the original 6D. This should mean that in low light, high sensitivity shots display less noise and an overall better quality.
